Drink That Beer

I’m on a night out and I want to drink some beer
No shandies any more I want to drink some beer
I see those girlie drinks drank in their evil droves
I have to down my pint until sobriety goes

I see a line of drinks and they’re all nice cold beer
With one gulp and my lunch, they’re never to come back
I see people turn their heads and quickly look away
Just like another piss-up it just happens everyday

I look inside myself and all was turned to beer
I see my lager and it has turned into beer
Maybe then I’ll fall asleep and not have to face the fear
It’s not easy drinking up when you’re whole world is beer

No more will my pure liver go turn a deeper hue
I could not foresee this thing happening to you
If I listen hard enough to the closing call
My beer will last with me until a bacon roll
