I like a beer with a good sized head
Something that I drink with ease
We had a fine ale not open too long
But that beer is good and gone
And if I ever drink here again
Just watching Sky with some old guy
I know that I will need to attend
To get in a round, and a meat pie
Sit in the garden and dream about beer
What type of ale I want now
Might get a Tetley's or a Smith's in a can
Or maybe a Newcastle Brown?
Once in a while when a beer tastes so good
You know that it's in a different class
You might pick up a case or a dozen or two
Good things don't ever last
And if I ever drink here again
